Lisa Kennedy's still life from class on Saturday. In this exercise the quick oil sketch, studentsare taught to get brief description of the objects. The exercise lasts about one class or 3 hours.

When life gives you lemons, paint them in a still life of course! Annie does a good job in class blocking in her lemon in Saturday class.
I have not shown this in a while but like the effect I achieved with the Renaissance hood and the gold leaf. This is of Chelsea Allen, a co-worker and friend of mine while I worked in Princeton. She was one of my favorite models and I always lived trying to get her elusive expression.
