Fruit Bots

This is the home of the Fruit Bots, a unique creation of artist John Murdoch. They are part fruit, part vegetable, part giant anime robot. These were inspired by a childhood rich with the TV shows Robotech and The Transformers. As an adult, I learned how to paint still lifes in the classical European tradition which eventually led me to the whimsical stylings of the 16th Century Mannerist Giuseppe Archimboldo. Add all these ingredients together and naturally you get Fruit Bots!
